Residents to be charged three-quarters of a million pounds + for new car park doors and entryphone

The service charges are already grossly inflated and there is no case whatsoever for these doors. Have there been numerous break-ins to the car park on P2? Have there been intruders to the building? Official statistics show that since CBW was built there has been one break into the car park and one attempted break in. The Community Safety Officer has advised that the existing doors are fit for purpose.

Berkeley Homes fail to meet Council deadline for planning application

On the 2nd August , Berkeley Homes were informed by Wandsworth Council that they were operating the depots on Sopwith Way without planning permission and that they should desist form using them or submit a retrospective planning application within 28 Days. In fact Berkeley Homes, in characteristic arrogant fashion, have done neither of those things

Sopwith Way – Massive Increase in Traffic and Worse to Come!

Following the decision of Berkeley Homes and Battersea Power Station Development Company to resurface Sopwith Way, remove the speed humps and open it up to all traffic there has been a massive increase in traffic along this narrow service road which runs within metres of many apartments at Chelsea Bridge Wharf. The traffic has come from HGVs waiting to access the Vista development site at the junction of Sopwith Way and Queenstown Road and from general traffic from the extremely busy Queenstown Road which are looking for a cut through to the Battersea Power Station site or for somewhere convenient to turn around to avoid going into the congestion charge zone.
