Leaseholders in Warwick Building invited to meeting to discuss service charge hike (15th March, 6pm)
Update: 22nd April and still no notes from L&Q re the meeting with Berkeley Homes, re service charge increases, which took place on 15th March, more than 5 WEEKS AGO! Nice work L&Q; with you guarding our interests it is no wonder Berkeley Homes are able to ride roughshod over your residents!
Update: As at 7th April we still do not have the notes from this meeting : L&Q have advised that this may take up to 28 days from the date of the meeting (i.e. around 15th April)! Is there any other organisation that takes a month to produce meeting notes?
I will post the meeting notes when received.

Dear Leaseholder
We have arranged a meeting with Consort Property Management in order to discuss the 2012/13 service charge budget for The Warwick Building in more detail. The meeting will be held at 6.00pm on Thursday 15th March 2012 at the Pestana Hotel, Chelsea Bridge Wharf.
Richard Harbard, Consort’s Development Manager, will be on hand to answer questions regarding the budget. Samantha Hughes, Service Charge Team Leader, will be attending the meeting on behalf of L&Q.
I apologise for the late notice of the meeting: we have been waiting for the hotel manager to confirm the availability of a room. If you know of any other leaseholders who may have been missed from this distribution list and would like to attend the meeting, please pass on the details to them.
If you have any queries or concerns ahead of the meeting, please let us know by return of email. We look forward to seeing you on 15th.
Kind regards

Yes. I have just got L&Q to admit they had overcharged residents at least £800 each. They refunded me, but no one else until others complained individually, so it seems that Tom Smith wanted to cover up his mistakes. The £800 is based on incorrect data, but L&Q ignores this fact. There is plenty of other evidence of possible fraud by L&Q. L&Q staff cannot be trusted. To discuss, please contact me. Chris: chrisunula@yahoo.com

I like the sound of that…no idea how to go about it though. Received a very complex letter from L and Q yesterday and have not had time to read thoroughly but looks like they are talking reductions of some kind in service charges. It has become so complicated I am struggling to keep up. I would be very happy to discuss and join in your efforts if I can and encourage anyone else to as well.
