‘How do you solve a problem like Rendall and Rittner’ is an online conference for those living at developments managed by Rendall and Rittner. It aims to increase awareness of the main ways in which Rendall and Rittner may inflate service charges and what you can do about it. It will include speakers on:
- Electricity supply retendering by Rendall and Rittner – outlining the ways in which this process has been carried out by Rendall and Rittner to the detriment of leaseholders and how you can challenge it.
- Buildings insurance – how to check if you are getting a competitive price and whether Rendall and Rittner are getting commissions, whether hidden or declared.
- Building Safety Act Costs – understanding and challenging them
- Getting residents organised at your development
- Right to Manage – what it means, how to do it and life after RTM. Other ‘solutions’ for replacing Rendall and Rittner will also be discussed.
- Group legal action (the UK equivalent of ‘class action’ in the US) – what are the prospects and what information do we need to take this forward
Join us for 90 minutes of presentations, discussions, Q&A and practical tips on navigating the complexities of dealing with Rendall and Ritter.

Attached is. a link to an Australian ABC tv show called four corners which aired this week. It is very topical and the same issues you are dealing with are very much relevant in Australia. The show has caused a huge ripple in the insurance industry with the Regulator stating they will investigate and the Brokers Association re-stating their code of conduct. It wasn’t just insurance but also utilities, building services etc. and general concern about unconscionable conduct.
A TV expose in UK might be very topical.
