Catherine Riva, CEO of Rendall and Rittner, makes claims of defamation – but is unable to back them up with any evidence
I recently made a complaint to Rendall and Rittner about Richard Daver’s inappropriate interference in the Chelsea Bridge Wharf Residents’ Association committee and Matt Rittner’s attempts to close down my extremely popular petition against Rendall and Rittner. As part of Rendall and Rittner’s reply, Ms Catherine Riva, CEO of Rendall and Rittner claimed that this site contained defamatory material about Rendall and Rittner and further claimed that I had refused to correct inaccurate information which they had contacted me about. This was a surprising claim as I have never been contacted by Rendall and Rittner about this website. I asked Ms Riva to tell me, as a matter of urgency, what material on this website she considered defamatory and why, and to supply copies of the correspondence which she claims Rendall and Rittner have had with me about this. Needless to say she was unable to do either.
My complaint will now progress to the Ombudsman.
A fuller version of this story will be published in the near future.
Well done Vincit, if they do genuinely believe your observations, comments, criticisms, questions are defamatory they are clearly delusional. Then again, they may also feel desparately afraid of being scrutinised and so resort to scare tactics as a defence mechanism. Keep going!

Thanks for the support Ray. Clearly the petition has got to them, – 2,700+ residents on Rendall and Rittner ‘managed’ developments basically telling them that the are useless, a failure and they want them gone. I am not aware of a single development that has freely chosen them as managing agent – nearly always imposed by Berkeley Homes or other freeholder with whom they have a ‘special’ relationship. Catherine Riva and Richard Daver are clearly desperate. Not able to provide a shred of evidence to support their claims. Pathetic! Right to Manage is the answer – they need to go
