One month on – still no response from CBWRA on whether they intend to hold fair elections for CBWRA Chair

Just under a month ago (27th January), CBWRA invited expressions of interest for the 2025 chair elections. I sent my expression of interest the same day (see below) and also asked CBWRA if they intended to engage in the same electoral manipulation as on previous occasions or whether they would undertake to have a fair election for a change.  I have still had no reply. I chased on 3rd Feb and still having had no reply I made a complaint on 13th February, which received a one line acknowledgement on 22nd February. I still have no response to my expression of interest in standing and no response on whether CBWRA intend to engage in the same electoral manipulation as on previous occasions in 2023 and 2024.

Co-Chairs Larisa Villar Hauser and Louis Sebastian Kendall have also ruled out any elections for Directors of the CBW Right to Manage company, will not hold an AGM and refuse to allow residents to see the contract signed with the prospective new managing agent, Urang who will take over from Rendall and Rittner, following Right to Manage.
