2 weeks later and still no notes from the farcical CBWRA AGM
Well obviously it was an embarrassing farce from CBWRA’s point of view and they would rather forget about it, and no doubt hope that residents will. I think the highlight was when CBWRA were forced to hold a vote on ratification of the committee and co-chairs clearly had no idea what was going on with Louis Sebastian Kendall saying ”we can’t have a vote on the constitution” although no one had asked for such a vote and it had no relevance to anything being discussed.
CBWRA are still unable to give any account of proxy votes nor can they explain how they checked whether those attending were entitled to vote – there were certainly non-leaseholders present who did vote.
Although they were notified in the morning (by me) that the meeting link did not work they did not supply a new one until 2 hours before the meeting (which was in the evening). They also failed to establish that the meeting was even quorate. That’s before we get onto the question of why the meeting was fully online instead of hybrid.
CBWRA are also unable to explain their false claim that there is a limit of 3 motions per person at the AGM.
Their desperation to avoid publishing accounts and refusal to take notes at meetings with residents also speaks volumes.

so 30 per cent voted against ratifying the CBWRA committee and they just decide not to include that in the notes.? Bizarre I suppose they hope that people are too scared to mention it…
