CBWRA committee member resigns after alleged anti-semitic tweets/tweets calling for military action against the UK

I understand that a CBWRA committee member has resigned following these tweets, although they continue to deny that they are the author. The (former) committee member claims that someone they fell out with impersonated them over many months, imitating their unque writing style over hundreds of tweets with incredible precision and even posting a ‘selfie’ of the former CBWRA committee member which (former  committee member claims) was stolen from their phone by this impersonator. Personally I do not believe this but I am glad the person concerned has resigned, as they have not behaved appropriately as a committee member over many years, in my view and have spoken to residents and other committee members (including me) in a highly inappropriate way on many occasions. I even had to defend a member of Rendall and Rittner staff against this person on one occasion which is an odd position to find oneself in. Despite all this inappropriate behaviour , CBWRA chairs never took action against her as far as I am aware because she was ‘one of the gang’. The standards were not applied (not sure there are any in reality). If I had not published these tweets here I suspect this person would still be on the CBWRA committee – after all the committee has taken no action against her and appears to accept her story about being impersonated at face value. Hence she resigns rather than being removed. Anyway I am happy to leave it there. As I have said I do not imagine this person is any real threat to anyone, and I wish them well, and I hope they may learn a little from this experience. However when this matter came to light they should have been suspended immediately by CBWRA and then removed – and indeed that should have happened a long time ago in my humble opinion. This again underlines the lack of proper governance in CBWRA in my opinion.
