7th February 2023 —

We passed the 3,500 mark! thankyou for your support. We added over 500 signatures in the last week or so.

More than 3,500 residents at developments ‘managed’ by Rendall and Rittner have now signed this petition to tell Rendall and Rittner that enough is enough to service charge hikes, lack of transparency, poor service and much more. ~

No meaningful response has been received from Rendall and Rittner or their parent company Odevo. That is quite amazing when you think about it – just ignoring 3,500+ of the people who have to pay their hiked service charges and endure their service which is often poor. However given Rendall and Rittner’s atrocious record on communications it is not surprising. Rendall and Rittner are appointed by freeholders (such as Berkeley Homes) in the vast majority of cases and unless residents obtain Right to Manage then there are limited ways of getting rid of Rendall and Rittner and hence the complacency of Rendall and Rittner with regard to this petition and more generally.

Rather than addressing the issues raised and responding to them, Rendall and  Rittner and some of their allies have tried and failed to have this petition stopped. That is shameful. Rendall and Rittner have also made it clear that they may choose not to work with residents’ associations  who support petitions against Rendall and Rittner – even if they are elected representatives of residents – that is sinister and anti-democratic.

Imagine if a Rendall and Rittner director had tried to influence your residents’ association in private to take down a petition against Rendall and Rittner

Imagine if you were on the committee of your residents’ association and you were forced to resign for supporting a petition against Rendall and Rittner?

Imagine if your residents’ association banned its members from supporting petitions against Rendall and Rittner?

Personally, I don’t have to imagine – all of the above actually happened 🙂 but the petition is alive and well and Rendall and Rittner will never be able to silence the voice of leaseholders and residents more generally.

If you are interested in getting involved in taking this petition forward or discussing what you can do about Rendall and Rittner at your development  please contact me at residents@chelseabridgewharf.org

We don’t have to put up with this, we can take back control of your own developments.

Thanks again for your support and please do share the petition widely  (link here https://chng.it/ZDcFyg9rXn
